FEI World Dressage Challenge 2008

Dubai, Wednesday, December 10: The FEI World Dressage Challenge 2008, a highly coveted event organized by Dubai Equestrian Club, sees our very own UAE stars compete internationally, as participating countries are divided into regional groups, with the UAE taking on Greece, Cyprus, Romania and Turkey in FEI Zone 4.

The FEI World Dressage Challenge has been organized under the direction of the National Federations of the participating countries.
The competition will feature four performance levels: the Prix St-Georges, Advanced, Novice and Children’s Test and will have four separate ranking lists. All competitors are put through the same tests adjudicated by the same ground jury that consists of two FEI-appointed international judges who travel to each country within the group.

This will be the 11th time the Emirates Equestrian Centre has hosted the prestigious FEI World Dressage Challenge event, and is pleased to announce that Union Properties will be on board as the official sponsor.

Ali Moosa Al Khamiri, General Manager at the Dubai Equestrian Club said: “The FEI World Dressage Challenge is a first class event and we are delighted to host the event, as we have done for the past few years.

“Union Properties’ commitment to dressage is highly valued and we are thrilled to welcome them on board as the official sponsor, not only for the dressage season but also for this prestigious competition.”

In addition, the Emirates Equestrian Centre will also be hosting a two-day Show Jumping event following the 2008 FEI World Dressage Challenge.

Starting at 2 pm, entry is free for all and there will be pony rides for children available.
